State-of-the-art equipment for high-quality products: Sveza launches a new overlaying press
We are delighted to inform you that Sveza has commissioned new process equipment at one of its plywood mills. As part of our capacity expansion project Novator 52+, which includes some of the most modern and advanced equipment in the industry, we have launched a new overlaying press manufactured by Hashimoto Denki Co. (Japan). The new press operates alongside our existing Raute (Finland) press.

What you need to know:
1) This is not a counterfeit product and not a second-grade product. SVEZA plywood produced on the new press fully meets all declared strength characteristics.
2) The different film finish does not affect the strength, moisture resistance, or mechanical reliability of the material. Plywood made on the new press has passed internal quality tests and meets all the core requirements of the Russian GOST standard and Sveza’s company standards.
3) The visual difference is a result of equipment modernization and improved production efficiency, aimed at consistently high quality and increased production volumes.
We are aware that counterfeit plywood under the SVEZA brand, including products with dark-colored film coating, occasionally appears in international markets. However, genuine SVEZA products have the following authenticity features:
- Brand-specific packaging. The packaging must have an official SVEZA label, which cannot accidentally come off. The absence of the label is a sign of counterfeit. The label shows the name of the plywood mill, date and shift of manufacture, product name, dimensions, grade, number of sheets, order number, QR code, and special markings.

- Proper packaging. SVEZA plywood is packaged either in stretch film or in plywood covers. Stretch film fully covers the bundle on all sides. Plywood covers are secured with metal or plastic straps both horizontally and vertically, with protective corners installed.
- Sheet marking. Each sheet (or at least every second or third sheet) must have either a printed mark or a stamp. For plywood thicker than 6 mm, the mark is on the edge; for thinner plywood, it is on the surface. The marking includes: plywood grade, product code, thickness, and the name of the plywood mill.
- Official deliveries through our authorized partners and distributors listed on sveza.com.
- If you have doubts, request a product quality certificate when ordering. This document specifies the plywood mill, order number, product name, quality standard number, and bears the signature of the warehouse manager. The certificate is provided upon request only.
