Sveza continues to increase presence in the Chinese market
The world’s largest manufacturer of birch plywood, Sveza presented its flooring and furniture plywood at China Green Home Furnishings Expo 2023 in Hangzhou as part of the efforts to raise profile in Asia.
Sveza has been very active in increasing its presence in the Chinese market. In 2023, the company has collaborated with its authorized distributors to showcase its products at six large trade shows in China. In July, Sveza’s plywood was used to decorate an exhibition hall at the 25th China International Building Decoration Fair in Guangzhou. In September, the company’s products were presented at three large trade events for architects and designers.
In October, Sveza took part in China Green Home Furnishings Expo 2023 in Hangzhou. It is an international exhibition promoting ‘green’ civil construction. At a joint stand with its Chinese distributor Huzhou Xiurui Import and Export Co., Ltd., Sveza presented its highest-grade plywood products made of Russian birch, including the two-ply flooring board.
“Birch plywood by Sveza is a unique product for the construction and furniture industries. The Chinese customers value quality, safety and environmental aspects of the products they use, and our manufacturing technologies precisely respond to their expectations,” says Vladimir Raymuev, export market sales manager at Sveza.
In addition, Sveza’s representative at the Expo gave an interview to a local TV program about the company’s marketing plans in China, and had meetings with the current and prospective customers.
Since the beginning of 2023, Sveza has shipped to China sixteen container trains, an equivalent to 26,000 tons of plywood.
