Sveza’s plywood debuting at WoodEX for Africa in Johannesburg
Sveza, the world’s largest manufacturer of birch plywood, will present its products for the first time in South Africa, aiming to expand its business in the African market.
Established in 2012, WoodEX for Africa has become a leading trade event for the wood and timber industry in Africa. The event starts on June 27 in Johannesburg and takes place in partnership with the Big 5 Construct South African Expo and the Deck & Flooring Expo. Sveza will present its products at its own exhibition stand, focusing on plywood products for the furniture making and laser cutting industries.
The product samples featured at the company's stand include overlaid plywood SVEZA Parquet specially designed to meet the main requirements of engineered wood flooring manufacturers, wear-resistant plywood SVEZA Color, perfectly smooth SVEZA Overlay for the manufacturers of HPL panels, and SVEZA Laser — special plywood for making die boards.

“Africa is one of our top priorities that we have been working on for several years now. International trade events are an important tool to expand our business in foreign markets, and WoodEX for Africa is a great opportunity for us to raise our profile in the African continent by promoting the existing business relationships and establishing new connections,” says Sveza’s head of sales to Africa Alexey Lyapunov.
