Sveza adopts a long-term development strategy for 2030 promoting four strategic focus areas: customer-centricity, operational efficiency, new points of growth, and sustainable development.

Sveza creates an in-house harvesting subsidiary Sveza Resource and becomes a vertically integrated company with a high degree of self-sufficiency for raw materials. The company implements sustainable forestry practices and complies with the national and global standards in forestry and supply chain management. Working with the local timber harvesting companies, Sveza promotes the development of the communities where it has operations.
Sveza launches the production of bioproducts made of waste materials from plywood production: fuel briquettes, firewood, and biocoal. The biomass fuels are carbon neutral and promote the corporate zero-waste philosophy.
Sveza signs an agreement with the government of the Kostroma Region on the implementation of a social and economic development program for Manturovo. As a major employer, the company is committed to improving the communities where it works. Dozens of initiatives worth over one billion rubles were implemented under the program in just three years, including the construction of a gas supply network for a community, major renovation and re-equipment of the Manturovo District Hospital, and many more.
